VIDEOSYNTHESIS is an installation presenting a plant consuming its own image. A live-feed video of a plant from a cellphone’s selfie camera is projected onto the plant itself, creating an infinite image loop. VIDEOSYNTHESIS addresses the relationship between technology, selfie culture, social media and the shaping of self-image in modern society.
